Sometimes all you need is the different ways you can swim to feel motivated. And other times it is the next upgrade you are looking for. Either way you want to have something to aspire once you get the basic swimming freestyle locked in.

This is the type of swimming in which you do anything you wish – combine all the styles or stick to something one – your choice. Do whatever you please, it is your jam baby, go freestyling.
In this type, you swim with both your hands doing criss cross style. Since you are propelling your motion by the front movement of hands, it is called front crawl.
This is laziest swimming technique – you swim like a frog. You do the forward motion inside the water and propel with legs shaped like legs. This way you glide through resembling a frog’s movement. In competitions people generally avoid doing frog style unless it is specifically that competition.
Probably the most strength is gone in this style. You propel upwards towards the sky like a butterfly and then dive in. This is difficult as compared to others. It involves you coming out of water at enormous speed.
Also there are many other styles – but primarily these are 4 main ones. So master each of them one at a time – now go swimming.
