It is tempting to take a break from swimming because life happens and it is difficult to go daily. And sure a break or two doesn’t harm.
But when you stop going for 3 days in a row, slowly it can turn into 4 and then weeks before you go. The gap you take will only grow bigger. And soon enough you will be lost in the habit of not going consistently.
So here is the deal to do things right – make sure you do something every week. If you didn’t do it till Friday then you have to do it on Saturday morning. Keep your mornings of Saturday always free – locked in for the swimming session. And make this is a no deal-breaker. You have to keep the timing in your calendar blocked every week and then follow it.
Take a break any time if you want but if that happens, do the swimming on Saturday without fail.
